Scholarship Application Process
This scholarship (not renewable) is awarded each year to the benefit of the Monroe Student-Athletes to help with the financial burdens of post-secondary education. One (1) senior-athlete will receive a $1,500 award in honor of Greg Smith, this award will be presented at the MABC Annual Bingo Event Saturday, March 14th. Greg was a longtime volunteer with the MABC organization; Greg served on the scholarship committee for many years.
Two (2) senior-athletes will receive $1,500 each from the Monroe Athletic Booster Club, these awards will be presented at the MABC Annual Bingo Event Saturday, March 14th.
STUDENT-ATHLETES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

Must be at least two (2) year member of this graduating class at Monroe High School.

Must be involved in sports for at least two (2) years.

Must maintain a 3.0 C.G.P.A.

Request two (2) recommendations from a teacher, coach, or community member.
