Scholarship Application Process
This scholarship (not renewable) is awarded each year in honor of a Monroe Athletic Booster to the benefit of the Monroe Student-Athletes to help them with the financial burdens of post-secondary education. Four (4) senior-athletes will receive this award at the Senior Awards Ceremony.
AWARD:
$750 is to be paid directly to the college or post-secondary institution.
STUDENT-ATHLETES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

Must be at least two (2) year member of this graduating class.

Must be involved in sports for at least two (2) years.

Must maintain a 3.0 C.G.P.A.

Must have volunteered for the Monroe Athletic Boosters Club for at least 5 hours during your high school career. Contact Us for information about upcoming volunteer opportunities.

Adam Duff
Hi, I am Adam Duff. I live with my sister Maddie, my mom Shannon, and my dad Rick. I played both varsity baseball and soccer for Monroe. I will be attending the University of Cincinnati and majoring in the field of biomedical engineering. A fun fact about me is I lived in Florida for a year and a half.


Zach Hagedorn
My name is Zach Hagedorn and I have graduated from Monroe this year and will be attending Bowling Green University in the fall. I plan on majoring in Secondary English Education. My family includes my Mother and father Debbie and Tom, and my sisters Tori and Diana. I have worked at Skyline Chili throughout high school, and have just started lifeguarding at Kings Island. I have played football and wrestled through high school, while also being Student Council president for the past 3 years and a member of the National Honors Society for 2 years. My favorite memories are being League Champ in wrestling my Junior Year and the Football Team having a winning season my senior year.


Hazel Moon
My name is Hazel Moon and I am an honors graduate of Monroe High School. I will be attending Miami University Middletown in the fall and Majoring in Primary Education. This year I received an Honorable Mention in the SWBL for tennis, I was a First Team All SWBL winner in softball, and played on the Divsion Two All Star team for softball. I achieved a school record for no strike outs in the 2021 season. I have chosen to continue my softball career as a Thunder Hawk in the Fall. I live with my brother Sam, my mom Lara, and my father Steve. I love to dogsit, babysit, and tutor during my free time. I also love to volunteer for the Australian Shepherd Advocates, where I once took care of eight abandoned puppies.
